Position Microwave Engineer
Location:
Microtech, Inc. Engineering Dept.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
Nature of Work:
This is a Staff position in our Engineering Department. You would design and “tweek” passive microwave component designs with the aid of Ansoft “HFSS” and Mig “WASPNET” electromagnetic simulator soft-wares. Mechanical designs are done on “AutoCad”, “AutoDesk Inventor 3-D”, “ProEngineer” three dimensional modeling soft-wares, and/or similar mechanical design soft-wares. You would also assist the Sales Department in technical sales. Familiarity with AS-9100 Management Systems and “Mil” and “ASTM” specifications a plus.
Qualifications:
BSEE degree or ten years of related experience desired. A specialized Associates Degree with strong equivalent experience will be considered. Applicant should be experienced in Ansoft “HFSS”, Mig “WASPNET”, “AutoCad”, “AutoDesk Inventor 3-D”, “ProEngineer” three dimensional modeling softwares, and/or similar mechanical design softwares. Applicant should be experienced with hi-frequency design and use of passive microwave components, especially waveguide structures. Ability to communicate prototyped designs proficiently through sketches or computer aided design to dfaftsperson. Must be familiar with personal computer, microwave test equipment and measurements, and manufacturing processes. AS-9100 Management System and Mil-Specs experience a definite plus.
